Pleasant, and Deborah (Roy) Yelland of Merritt Island, FL two sisters, Elma Elina "Dorothy" Juntunen of Lyon Mt., NY and Toini "Marie" Granroth of Tapiola nine grandchildren, Ruby (Chad) Kopenski of Athens, OH, Scott (Janelle) Taylor of Haslett, Tad Ruhinen of Palmyra, WI, Brent (Kristy) Taylor and Audrey Taylor both of East Lansing, Shawn Ruhinen of Marysville, WA, Kelli Tingen of Grantsboro, NC, Casey Yelland and Tara Yelland, both of Merritt Island, FL three great grandchildren, Ashley Taylor of Haslett, Austin Taylor of East Lansing and Paris Yelland of Merritt Island, FL. (Dawn) Ruhinen of Athens, OH, Gary (Reena) Ruhinen of Marquette, Marvin Ruhinen of Gwinn, Diane (Terry) Taylor of Mt. Eleanore is survived by five children, Lincoln P. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, especially fiction and also worked crossword puzzles. She volunteered to make quilts for the needy and Christmas gift basket for overseas veterans. Eleanore was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn and also WELCA. As a military spouse, her travels also included Louisiana, Hawaii, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Guam. She attended Butte Business College in Butte, Montana and held many jobs before her eventual employment and retirement from the Federal Civil Service. On October 7, 1942, she married Lincoln E. Ruhinen was born on Octoin Tapiola, Michigan, a daughter of the late Atri John and Hilda Gustava (Hillukkala) Kangas. Johnson Lake Road, Gwinn, died Thursday morning, Jat her home with her family at her side and in the care of Lake Superior Hospice.
